Katie Loggins
Founder
Katie Loggins is a Registered Nurse born and raised in Santa Cruz California. She received her Masters in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from San Francisco State University in 2010.She currently works as a Telemetry Care hospital nurse, and is a member of her hospital’s Unit Based Counsel (UBC) which functions to provide improvements and institute best practices to her unit.
Katie will tell you that nursing school and obtaining her masters degree was one of the biggest challenges of her life. The dedication and determination it required to succeed helped build the emotional and psychological foundation it takes to be a nurse. This accomplishment contributed to the immense sense of pride she has for herself, her co-workers and her profession. She believes in the power of lifting people up and reminding them of their worth.
Katie also personally drew both the "Nurses Are Swell" sweatshrt art and the newer "CalifoRNia Strong" Yosemite Nurse sweatshirt in hope of giving nurses something to enjoy wearing while empowering these strong hardworking individuals.
